All of a sudden I got very, very excited for Link Between Worlds
tlok as ocarina of time: Korra turns into an adult.
i got ocarina (i think?) for 3ds a while ago, but i couldn't get past the first dungeon b/c SPIDER THINGS KEPT JUMPING OUT AT ME and i'm like reaalllllllly grossed out by spiders, like i legit threw my 3ds because it was so gross :( how do i get past this lmao
Fortify yourself. Find a small island on a lake and meditate for 20 moons and 20 sunrises. Practice the ancient art of tai chi at dawn. Fly to Japan to bask in the shadow of Mount Fuji to soak up the ancestry of the creators of Legend of Zelda, who will in turn aid you in your time of need. Buy a sword and become one with it, battle a horde of pillaging marauders to regain your honor.
or you could find a friend that’s played it before and bully them into completing the dungeon for you as you watch and scream idk man it’s your call
what is your fav zelda game?
MOTHERFUCKIN MAJORA’S MASK
I adore Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker as well (I enjoyed Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword too - I have a preference for the console games - but not as much as the older ones… idk maybe nostalgia??), but Majora’s Mask is another level, man
First of all, the story is sooo interesting, the concept is fanfuckingtastic - the moon is gonna crash in three days and you need to travel through time to save the day? Woah so cool! Sure, it got a bit frustrating when you ran out of time, had to speed time up to do something, or when your work was erased when you got back to the first day, but again, the concept was so innovative! It blew my mind then and still does. It just captured me from the start.
Second, the story itself was just great, the levels and the narrative was so solid and kept me on the ball. The way the different narratives through the miniquests wove into one another made me feel like I was really a part of the universe, that there was a world there and not just levels to go through and points to rack up. It’s been a while since I last played it but I can still remember the character’s names, their stories, the slices of life you got to be a part of… me GUSTAAA
Third, it was a legit creepy game and I loved it! Dead tortured heroes you have to impersonate? Monsters and ghosts in abandoned canyons?????? CreEPY TEMPLES IN THE SKY???? UGH SO PERFECT! The tone of this game was on point, the music was flawless, it just made me feel like I was in it, you know? It completely transported me. Also, alien invasion. Alien. Invasion. Yessss.
Everything about it jus came together flawlessly, the world, the people, the game - it’s legit fun - that has a tone and an ambience that has to me not since been replicated. I just loved it, especially running into characters from OoT but this time getting way more involved in their lives… It was just amazing, and I love everything about it.
I JUST…. MAJORA’S MASK FEEEEELLLLLLSSS (which is weird bc I fucking love Zelda and she shows up for like, 2 and 3/4th of a second in this game)
Another look at the Zelda mini treasure box ⊟
Hold. The Frickin’. Boat. You’re telling me that this GAME-exclusive box that plays the treasure chime when you open it — initially reported as a preorder bonus but now part of a collector’s edition for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds in Europe — also has slots that can hold your DS and 3DS games? I am going to straight-up break every clay pot in this joint if Nintendo doesn’t bring this to the States.
